A recent rally for Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) has the leading cryptocurrency climbing up the global asset market capitalization list.
Here’s how close Bitcoin is to joining the top 10.

Bitcoin Climbs Leaderboard
With Bitcoin recently hitting the $80,000 mark and trading at levels not seen since May 2026, the leading cryptocurrency is moving up the global market capitalization list.
Companies Market Cap ranks public companies, precious metals and cryptocurrencies in one master global asset list, where Bitcoin is currently ranked 12th. The cryptocurrency now has a market capitalization of $1.58 trillion.
This puts Bitcoin ahead of Meta Platforms at $1.47 trillion and Tesla at $1.37 trillion.
Despite the move higher, Bitcoin is still well off all-time highs of more than $126,000 set in October 2025 and its highest market capitalization ever.
Ranking 12th, Bitcoin needs to continue going higher to pass the two names in its way. That is currently Broadcom and Saudi Aramco, who are worth $1.69 trillion and $1.68 trillion, respectively.

Top 10 Assets by Market Capitalization
As of Wednesday, here is the current top 10 global assets by market capitalization according to the tracker:
- Gold: $32.44 trillion
- Nvidia: $5.08 trillion
- Apple: $4.57 trillion
- Alphabet: $4.15 trillion
- Silver: $3.87 trillion
- Microsoft: $3.68 trillion
- Amazon.com: $2.80 trillion
- Taiwan Semiconductor: $2.17 trillion
- SpaceX: $1.84 trillion
- Broadcom: $1.69 trillion
The top 10 is currently made up of two precious metals with gold and silver first and fifth, respectively. The rest of the top 10 is publicly traded technology-related companies.
